Recently it was announced that Mall St. Matthews will undergo a major facelift of its food court. A Salt Lake City construction company has been hired to perform the work. Can anyone expain why they got the job when there are so many qualified outfits based here? Are there no reputable local construction firms capable of a $700,000 food court makeover. Why is there no pressure from public officials to use Louisville businesses employing Louisvillians? We will never return to our previous status as a "major league" city if we always bring in the out of town "pros from Dover."
