Each year, the Helicopter Association International presents its HAI HELI‑EXPO, to gather the world of vertical aviation together. The latest in aircraft, avionics, technology, and services from 700+ exhibitors — you can explore it all at the Kentucky Exposition Center here in Louisville, February 29 through March 3 (the exhibit floor is open March 1 through March 3).

The Expo will feature professional education courses, Rotor Safety Challenge sessions, IA renewal opportunities, Manufacturer Technical Briefings, the HAI Helicopter Industry Career Fair, and the HAI Membership Meeting & Breakfast.

HAI Heli‑Expo is the place where the global helicopter community unites, year after year.  Participants will connect with vendors, friends, and colleagues, and meet new ones too.

In 1948, just nine years after Igor Sikorsky flew the first controlled helicopter flight and two years after the first helicopter was certified for civilian use, the Helicopter Council was formed to work for the collective benefit of the new industry. Several name changes later, the group became Helicopter Association International (HAI) in 1981.

Headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia, HAI draws its members from more than 70 countries, including helicopter operators from every mission sector, manufacturers and suppliers to the industry, and professionals such as pilots, maintenance technicians, and safety officers.

Each year, HAI holds its HAI Heli‑Expo, the world’s largest helicopter trade show and exposition. Thousands of operators, pilots, maintenance technicians, managers, and safety professionals come from around the world to see the latest in aircraft and technology, connect with vendors, and network with industry peers. They also come for the helicopter-specific educational opportunities, such as inspection authorization renewal, HAI Professional Education courses, and the Rotor Safety Challenge free safety education program.

More information on HAI can be found at rotor.org. If you are interested in becoming an HAI member, visit rotor.org/join.
