Independence Day is right around the corner and nothing says God Bless America like lots of food, flags and fireworks.  On both July 3rd and 4th the good folks down at the Belle of Louisville will be hosting buffet lunches and sightseeing cruises on everyone’s favorite steamboat, celebrating our Nation's independence.  On the nights of the 3rd and 4th both the Belle and had her sister-ship, The Spirit of Jefferson, will take to the Ohio River for their annual Fireworks Cruises.

These cruises will last from 8:30 pm – 11:00 pm and will have a DJ on board to accompany their patriotic passengers. The cash bar will be available so if you need some spirits to get in the spirit they will have you covered!  Just about everyone has that one American flag t-shirt that has been dying to get out of the drawer, so put it on and join the Belle and her crew for a night of fireworks on the river.  CLICK HERE, for more details.

On July 11th the Belle and her crew will be offering their first bridge construction cruise.   This 3-hour special event will take passengers under the new Downtown Bridge as well as the illusive East End Bridge. Lunch has already sold out but they have plenty of sightseeing options available for those looking to cruise. They will have historic and development professionals on board giving narration as well as DJ to play some tunes during down time. The bar and concession stand will be available and the engine room open to explore. For more information on this special event please CLICK HERE.

Evan Williams Bourbon Experience

The Belle of Louisville crew is teaming up with local bourbon distiller Evan Williams on August 8th, for a 2-hour special event cruise, featuring samples of Evan Williams bourbon as well as hors d'oeuvres for those guests who get the munchies. An Evan Williams rep will be on board with information if you have any questions and the cash bar will be open if the samples aren't exactly quenching your thirst.
